About Me
About Me:
I am a 30 something Colorado Native, and proud of it. Picking up my first camera before I was 5, and getting more and more interested as I began to fall in love with aviation at the age of 12 when I decided to become a Pilot and wanted to spend as much time as I could around airplanes, I started taking pictures of them at DIA. Since then I have traveled Europe and USA and still love taking pictures and traveling. While I have a desk job, it is at least with a fortune 500 company involved with aviation on a daily basis. When not working or studying on my masters degree, I enjoy traveling with my wife and taking photos. The last one is the purpose of this website.
Over the past years I have seen technology grow, and up till 2007 I was still suspicious of digital photography and then bought my first digital camera. Since then my photography has bloomed, starting with a point and shoot and moved on to a Nikon DSLR after graduating College, and a few years later to my current D7100 (come on D850). Having shot Nikon since my second film camera, I have continued to expand my work and my collection from airplanes, to travel shots from my time in Poland as an exchange student in 2002-03, to travel in Europe with my German wife Lydia (in several of my photos), and travels across the USA. When not traveling I participate in Meetups/Workshops around Colorado and the country, and enjoy working with most everyone who shares the same passions.
I hope that you will enjoy this website, and my photographic work, which I am constantly striving to improve and diversify. I hope to start a blog with some of my better photos to describe the situation and information associated with how I got the shots and share what I learn and do.
